A Game for Couponers... kinda
As couponers we pay A LOT of attention to logos and brands each week! Between the coupons, the online and restaurant deals and just the plain ole grocery shopping, we ALWAYS have brands on the brain... or at least I do!
And since we have all become a bit brand savvy, I think I may have found a game that we will all be able to win! I was doing my nightly CNN check and found the "Hottest Holiday Toys of 2011" article. And while I don't have kids, it is nice to be up to date and know what some of you will be looking for this holiday season, so if I find a deal I will be able to share. But back to the game...
Considered one of the "Hottest Holiday Toys of 2011" is the Logo Board Game. Just look at the front of the box! Lucky Charms, Skittles, Old El Paso, Stouffers, V8, Taco Bell, BIQ, Green Giant... all logos we might be able to find in our pantries and stockpiles!
CNN asks "Do you know the maker of the coppertop battery?" Why yes I do, Duracell... I can also tell you there is a coupon for it in the 10/16 PG! Just check out the description from Amazon...
"Our life is full of things - from chocolate to cereal, football to flowers - and they all have logos. But could you name them if you saw them? Logo is the game that puts your consumer knowledge to the test. Show off your knowledge of popular brands in this hilarious family game of pop-culture. The first person to make it into the winners circle and answer all the questions correctly wins. Tap into the knowledge you’ve piled up over the years and discover astonishing facts and surprises that will entertain the entire family. Puts your consumer knowledge to the test. Great pop-culture fun for the whole family."
Now doesn't that sound like a game a couponer would be great at! I'm putting this down on my Wish List for Christmas (hint hint Chris)! Go here to see the article on CNN and here to check it out on Amazon!
