One thing that has always stuck out in my mind about going to the Grocery store with my Mom as a kid was the FREE cookie from the bakery. Everytime she would take my sister and I to the store with her, she would tell us that if we behaved for the ENTIRE shopping trip, we could get a cookie. Then when she was checking out, we were kept busy with the cookie!
Then when I was looking at the Schnuck's ad this morning, they have a little blurb about giving FREE cookies to kids 10 and under with an adult! So if you are taking your kids to the store, this might be a GREAT way to keep your kids busy and excited to go to the store with you!
